These knives are just what I wanted. I do not cook often, but wanted to put a reliable, if I do. This rate is more than up to the task. I have every kind of knife I needed and it is great to have a nice set of steak knives. Note, there is not enough space in this block for both Santoku knife. I have to keep in a drawer.

Even if the knife is not made in Germany, that advertising tries to do it outside, I am satisfied with my knives and the company has been very helpful in explaining how the process works on the blade of the German but processed in China.
